I went for my annual Medicare examination last week which included blood work. My general practitioner, Dr. Rebecca Talley, called me with the results. I have hyperthyroidism 😩. Yep. Yesterday, i had a follow up visit with my orthopedic doctor, Dr. Alexander Collins. After looking at the X-rays, he said that the break was healing correctly and that I should be able to rotate it in about two more weeks and that the pain should be gone or almost gone. I know there is meaning and purpose in pain. My wife Joyce and I talked about it today. One thing she said was that I appreciate her more. I depend on her for everything now. I can’t even put on my jacket and zip it up without her help. God is purposing my pain to change me for the better. I just have to learn real patience even though I feel like a caged bird.
