I well remember my favorite elementary teacher, Mrs. Eric Johnson, in fourth grade, scolding us if we forgot our pencil and paper. “Just like a carpenter needs his saw and hammer, you need your pencil and paper.” A pencil and paper were the tools of our trade back in 1961.

Weigh-in Wow!

I woke up this morning feeling that I had lost the weight that I had gained over the weekend. I couldn’t wait to step on the scale to see if my body was telling me the truth.
